Potted Plants as Centerpieces

Floral and potted plant table centerpieces are very popular because they can be adapted to any situation and can make any party or get-together special.

Even if your gathering is small, if you are using a beautiful natural centerpiece will help establish a theme for your party and set the mood. For my flowers arrangements, I am using short vases and pots to display flowers, that would be as suitable at an afternoon luncheon reception or a dinner parties.

Flowers are always eco-friendly and I can play around with different leaf textures and variegation, foliage smell and plant sizes for contrast.

The plants arrangements add an element of freshness to any event and nice seems that you can get them away at the end of the party to special guests or helpers. I like also eco-friendly shells and I love to have on my desk miniature saikei in oyster shells with amazing shapes.

Depending the dimension of your gathering and table, you can use small centerpieces made only with moss and accent plants, or big flowers arrangements with plants taller than 25-30cm and containers with diameters bigger than 10-15cm.

Green - Boots floral arrangements with Mexican Sage Pelargonium

I made this arrangement for good luck. I love these green boots and I mixed  Apricot Scented  Pelargonium Mexican Sage (40 cm high) with accent plants, ivy and moss for decoration.










I like the unusual containers for my arrangements, but I used also terra cotta flower pots (3-5cm high) and I fit inside young scented pelargoniums with apricot, rose and lemon scents.

I like also this playful pot with miniature dwarfs sitting on mushrooms in forest. I think is an amazing centerpiece flower arrangement for the children desk or for any children party with dwarf's theme or fall color scheme.
